Egg Donors and Surrogacy

Parenthood is a precious gift, and is a natural expectation for the larger majority of humans on earth. However, with some, various challenges will hinder their ability to bear children and the only option at their disposal is to engage the services of a surrogate mother, in whom a fertilized egg will be implanted and she will give birth to a healthy child.  The Egg Donor and Surrogacy institute is committed to providing individuals and couples with the best possible chance that their chosen surrogate will bear them a healthy child. Part of this process involves maintaining and managing a viable egg donor database, whereby individuals will donate their healthy unfertilized eggs which will then be matched with the appropriate parents and eventually implanted into a surrogate mother. This strategy involving three parties, that is, the parent or parents, the egg donor and the surrogate mother, provides an opportunity to create the best possible conditions to eventually have a healthy child born through the process of surrogacy.

The egg donor and surrogacy institute program is a critical contact point for those parents whose biological state may not allow them to harvest the female partner's eggs for surrogacy and still provides them a chance to experience the magical journey of parenthood.  These eggs will be fertilized with the male partner's sperm in order to implant them in the surrogate. No process is perfect, and Egg donors are taking through an extensive process of both physical and psychological assessments. This will also include counselling to ensure that the egg donor will understand not only the process but the actual physical changes that are expected to take place during the whole process of preparing and harvesting the eggs from her body. It goes without saying that the health condition of the donor cannot be ignored. A healthy donor will produce healthy eggs.

The egg donation process has several phases which is why a proper understanding of the whole cycle by the egg donors, is necessary to ensure that the donor is in the best frame of mind possible to undergo it. An initial assessment is followed by a medically monitored process of ensuring that her body and ovaries are producing the healthiest eggs, after which several eggs will be removed in one cycle.

These are the eggs that will then be paired with the most suitable candidates for surrogacy. The whole process from start to finish is closely monitored and managed by the institute to ensure that every parent, egg donor and gestational surrogate is afforded the necessary support that they need.
